Tables of, you guessed it, white
And these we spray painted with a white lacquer finish. Replaced knobs on the record table, which was originally a black table.
retro revamp
So, on to the projects I completed this weekend. It was Josh's brilliant idea to "do something" to the old record player his dad had passed down to him years back. It's still in great working condition, just wasn't as appealing to the eye as is to the ear.
Sorry, forgot to take a before photo -- but you can use your imagination on this one. It was originally a wood panel. We opted for a retro blue spray paint with high gloss finish. It's easy -- unscrew, paint screws and panels, dry, and replace. Here it is!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day yesterday. Josh and I worked on our house and then topped it off with some Lupi's pizza and some winter olympics -- great combo, right? Here are the beautiful roses Josh brought home for me. One of my absolute favorites!

DIY Headboard Ideas
Found these ideas for headboards from DIY magazine. I was originally thinking about the tufted headboard design, but am now leaning towards the tall curtain/fabric style, minus the frame in the center...
